The second part of the Breaking Borders symposium continues with Alfredo Brillembourg, who is a Columbia-educated architect and Chair of Architecture and Urban Design at ETH Zurich. He presents a lecture entitled South of the Border highlighting the relationship between wealth and poverty across borders. He is followed by Curator of Architecture and Design at MoMA and Professor of Modern Architectural History Barry Bergdoll. Bergdoll explores the relationship of “current day practice to the legacy of Latin American modernism.” The symposium continues with a panel discussion composed of all lecturers and culminates with a Q&A session.
