Vokal is an architectural practice founded by Ella Kaira and Matti Jänkälä located in Helsinki, Finland. Their approach to architecture and urban design is community-based and research-driven. They employ a blend of architectural design methods and research to explore the dynamics between architecture, social movements, and property markets within the contemporary city. In November 2023, Kaira and Jänkälä participated in the residency at the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York (FCINY).
