In this workshop, we will discuss the place of digital and document accessibility within the wider context of accessibility in higher education. We will explore the relationship between digital and document accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the benefits of and requirements for digital and document accessibility, and a few key practices and tools for creating more accessible documents and digital artifacts. Participants will leave the workshop with 2 or 3 small steps they can take to increase digital and document accessibility in their teaching.
