In 2021, the United Nations (UN) concluded that, of all external factors, food loss and food waste contributed most to food insecurity. 60% of the workforce in sub-Saharan Africa is engaged in the agricultural sector, which experiences high food loss along the value chain resulting in lower revenue streams. What are the strategic opportunities to improve sustainable farm storage activities to reduce post-harvest food loss more accessible and efficient to small-holder farmers in Africa?

In today's fast-changing world, creative and cultural leaders play a critical role in society. Through the Integrative Capstone Project, which is a crucial aspect of the Master in Professional Studies (MPS) degrees, participants can apply their knowledge to real-world issues. Capstone projects prioritize the 3C's (culture, community, and commerce) and/or TBLD+C (people, planet, profit by design and culture), aligning with the G20 Cultural Leaders Training Network and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
