This is a talk given to students in the "Emerging Practices" graduate course on virtual reality, it's continuity and disjunction with earlier forms of media (namely film and videogames), as well as "the battle for truth," based on an interdisciplinary course taught by Basem Aly called "VR and the Battle for Truth."
