Black Dress Talks spotlights the invaluable contributions of Black men and women in the fashion industry. Through compelling conversations and personal narratives, the series explores the creativity, perseverance, challenges, and triumphs that shape their journeys and influence the industry at large.
Freddie Leiba is an international stylist, creative director, and fashion editor whose career spans four decades. Leiba has collaborated with influential artists and creatives such as Andy Warhol and contributed to leading fashion publications including Interview and Harper’s Bazaar. His work with luxury brands such as Armani, Rolex, and Badgley Mischka, as well as his styling for Hollywood’s most celebrated figures such as Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep, has left a lasting mark on the fashion world. Leiba has also created iconic looks for cultural and style icons including Janet Jackson, Beyoncé Knowles, Sarah Jessica Parker, Diana Ross, and many others.
