Canadian architect Patricia Patkau talks about finding form in her Vancouver-based practice. The Yale-educated architect presents her design method which is defined by “looking for reasons for architecture to engage things in the world”. Patkau discusses context, external influences and the generation of ideas of form. Through a series of photographs and a set of detailed and abstract drawings, Patkau presents a portfolio of her practice’s work ranging from residential projects to academic buildings and libraries.
