Faculty Spotlight - Justice Whitaker

Distinguished professor Justice A. Whitaker will discuss his use of the ungrading pedagogical practice and how he uses this material to generate an authentic relationship with his students. The Spotlight will examine how Justice uses ungrading to prioritize academic success in the classroom and legitimately support students for real world professional scenarios. Justice will share portions of his lecture on ungrading, delivered at the start and end of each semester, and tie the practice to his ongoing work decolonizing the classroom.
