Architecture Lecture Series: Gisue Hariri

Gisue Hariri was born in Iran and educated at Cornell and is one of the founders of Hariri & Hariri Architecture. Her firm works on large and small scale projects ranging from architecture and master plans to product design and furniture. In this lecture Hariri discusses her inductive working methods from the very early design stages and goes into intricate detail of active participation during construction. Her projects convey an articulation through the penetration of volumetric forms, and the interplay of the curvilinear and rectilinear is omnipresent in all the presented designs.
