Sophia Sobers' 2024 CTL Faculty Fellows project, Fostering Play in Art + Technology, is about investigating ways to encourage play and exploration within the context of technical learning in DDA’s Art + Technology and Interactive Arts programs in order to make learning potentially technically challenging platforms accessible and inclusive, thus lowering potential barriers to entry. Through the process of exploring and cataloging current methodologies and approaches towards teaching new and established technologies within the classroom, a catalog of common practices and knowledge databases will be developed for working with creative technologies.
