Welcome! How to get started with your Canvas course

1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click "Start a new course"
3. Name your course

1. Click on "People+"
2. Add the names or emails of your collaborators
3. Define their roles as "Teacher"
4. Click "Add Users"

1. Go to "Pages"
2. Click "Page+"
3. Add your information, save and publish the page 
4. From the "Pages" menu, click the three dots and select "Use as Front Page"
5. Navigate to "Home"
6. Click "Choose Home Page"
7. From the menu that appears, choose "Pages Home Page" and save

1. Navigate to "Commons" on the far left side of the website
2. Search for "Pratt Institute" and locate the syllabus module
3. Click "Import/Download" and select the name of your course
4. Select "Import into course" and you will see the Pratt syllabus module in your course under "Modules"
5. Edit as needed, copy and paste into the "Syllabus" section of your course

1. Navigate to "Modules"
2. Add new modules with possible topics
3. Add pages, discussions, and assignment names to plan out your course
